OTRANTO is an oval cut into facets — the curve is there, but broken into straight segments, so the frame reads round from a distance and angular up close. Titanium front, beta-titanium temples, Mazzucchelli cellulose acetate tips.
Nothing decorative. The whole design sits in those flat planes and in the bridge, which holds the two ovals apart rather than crowding the eye. Ten colorways, each pairing a metal finish with a contrasting acetate.
Named after Otranto, the whitewashed port on the Adriatic where Italy points east. Gender-neutral, prescription-ready.
